DVS postpones next week’s 2021 honor guard training conference

SANTA FE, N.M. — The New Mexico Department of Veterans Services (DVS) has postponed the 2021 Honor Guard Training Conference scheduled for August 19 in Albuquerque. The postponement is a safety precaution in light of increasing COVID-19 cases across the state.

NMSU Grants holds summer math camp

New Mexico State University-Grants recently started a summer math camp program for local students to participate in. The math camp began on June 18 and will be held every Friday through July 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

GHS graduate receives athletic scholarship

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. – Grants High School graduate Emily Ramirez recently received the 2021 Steve Bell Athletic Scholarship, which is a $1,000 award. Emily has been involved in sports her entire life.
