This past week, the City of Grants celebrated Christmas in July at Grants Memorial Park. Family members and friends of those buried at the park were invited by the city to go and decorate in the spirit of memory and community, with a December holiday theme.

The New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) reported a 76.7 percent graduation for the class of 2023. There was a significant difference between traditional school students and those whose high school career had a Career Technical Pathway, with those students seeing a 95.77 percent graduation rate.
