Village of Milan Renames Metcalf Park to McElroy Park

MILAN NM, -- On October 20, the Village of Milan renamed Metcalf park to McElroy park after Bill McElroy who worked for the Village of Milan as the Recreation Supervisor for 60 years until his retirement in 2020.

Diego Lopez, Reporter GRANTS, N.M. – In the late hours of October 6, 2023, a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV near the Allsup’s on First Street (616 First Street) in Grants, New Mexico, resulted in the arrest of an alleged DUI driver and significant injuries to the motorcyclist.
