USDA confirms highly pathogenic avian influenza in backyard flock in San Juan County

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The United States Department of Agriculture’s Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has confirmed the presence of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in a noncommercial backyard flock in San Juan County, New Mexico.
