Cibola County Commission Opposes Governor's Firearm Restrictions

GRANTS, NM – On September 20, the Cibola County Commission held a special meeting which included one discussion action item, “Consideration of Resolution 202346 Opposing the New Mexico Governors Unilateral Suspension of the Statutory & Constitutional Civil Rights of New Mexicans.

GRANTS, NM – Albuquerque Police Department announced the arrest of two suspects in connection with the shooting death of 11-year-old Froylan Villegas. The young boy was killed on September 6 while leaving an Isotopes baseball game with his family in Albuquerque.

Albuquerque, NM – On the final Saturday of this year’s Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, the usual parade of hot air balloons overhead will have a new neighbor in the New Mexico sky: an annular eclipse that turns the sun into a ring of light around the moon for a few minutes.
