Grants: That Bad Aroma??

GRANTS – A computer panel at the Wastewater Treatment Plant that’s been out for more than two months has resulted in an awful aroma in and around the facility. According to city officials, identifying the panel problem took several weeks.

Cibola’s Drought Conditions Improve

After a dry and hot Springtime, drought conditions in Cibola County are improving. 2022 was an unprecedented year that caused record setting destruction for New Mexico, with the year setting records for the two largest wildfires in state history.

GRANTS – Last weekend, Grants Memorial Park on Roosevelt Avenue was no spooky dark place. As a matter of fact, it was quite the opposite. “It was a place of peace and comfort.” said Mayor Erik Garcia. “The cemetery should be a safe place, protected.

Astronomical Events in August over Cibola

A series of astronomical events will take place in the skies over Cibola County this month. Cibola is a prime location to do skygazing any night, with limited light pollution, the skies are crystal clear and offer enchanting views of the Milky Way Galaxy and the many constellations.
