Business Rooted in the Foundation of Family

CITY OF GRANTS, N.M. – A new business in town was welcomed to the Grants community by the Chamber of Commerce, community members, friends, and family on Saturday, April 9. A&J Snack Shop, located on 333 Nimitz Drive, participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.

Laguna Man Sentenced

LAGUNA, N.M. – Laguna man Joshua Laguna man Joshua Mendez was sentenced in a United States Federal Court on March 24 for an assault that occurred in the Pueblo. He was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison. When released, Mendez will be subject to three years of supervised release.

MILAN, N.M. – Clay Street is a typically peaceful area in the Village of Milan, but in the afternoon of March 27 a shooting disrupted the comfort. Milan Police Department responded quickly and arrested Nicholas Riley for allegedly shooting into his own home while his daughters were inside.
