GRANTS, N.M. – The 600 Block of Chaco Avenue in Grants, New Mexico, was rocked by a vehicle fire. Grants Fire and Rescue moved quickly to contain the fire, which appeared to have suspicious starting points. The fire appears to have started in a black sedan.

PREWITT, N.M. – A 65-year-old man lost his life on Interstate 40 near Prewitt on April 5. The accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. near mile marker 67.

The woman pictured is known by the FBI as the “Red Shoe Robber” and is allegedly responsible for robbing the Wells Fargo Bank on 201 N. First Street in Grants on Saturday, May 7. The Red Shoe Robber allegedly escaped with an undisclosed amount of money. If you know this person, call the FBI immediately at 505-889-1300.
