The GHS track team wrapped up the district meet at Valencia High School last Saturday. Notables for the Pirates were Manuel Gonzales, 1st in the high jump, 5’ 10”, Andres Lazos, 1st in the triple-jump 39.11-75,John Paul Miller 2nd in the 2200 meters with a time of 11:07.

A spectacular season continues for the GHS baseball team as they received a second seed in the 4A state baseball tournament and will host the Portales Rams (12-11,3-6) who received the 16th seed.

Christian Nava Reinjures ACL, Will Miss 2024 Season

New Mexico United is devastated to report that Cristian Nava has suffered a reinjury to his ACL. Nava will undergo surgery to repair the injury, is expecting a recovery of about eight months, and will miss the 2024 season.
