Las Vegas Murder with Cibola Link

GRANTS, N.M. – The mystery of a Las Vegas, New Mexico, murder has reached its way to Cibola County. Court documents allege that a man involved in the northern murder was incarcerated at Cibola County Correctional Center in Milan, N.M. in 2019.

GPD Investigates Alleged Assault

GRANTS, N.M. – The Grants Police Department has charged Ryan Sardo with aggravated battery, disorderly conduct, assault with intent to commit a violent felony. The charges come after Sardo allegedly fired a 12-gauge shotgun shell at an unnamed minor.

Preparing for Wildfires in Cibola

“It’s getting sporty out here,” Fire Marshal Dustin Middleton said about the increased fire danger that is keeping the Cibola County Fire Command, Grants Fire and Rescue, Village of Milan Fire Department, and multiple smaller fire agencies across the county at the ready.

Mayor Erik Garcia and his team from Grassroots Rx on Roosevelt Avenue helped to clean up the Riverwalk Park. This cleanup took place on April 23 and left the arroyos of Grants cleaner than in the past.
