The 4A football season just ended with the Lovington Wildcats taking the championship for 2023. The Grants Pirates made the playoffs this year and Grants High School Coach Steve Brown reflected on the success of the team.

Senior goalkeeper Adynn Knighton readies himself to kick the ball after successfully stopping a goal attempt at a recent game. Both Pirate soccer teams wrapped up their seasons last week. The GHS boys’soccer team ended up 1- 16, 0-8 while the lady Pirates ended their season 0-15-2, 0-8.
