Steve Brown has been named the new Grants High School football coach. Brown a former Pirates himself has 16-years’ experience as an assistant football coach and is currently running the summer workouts. 'Football is like life, if you get knocked down you have to get back up – It's the same thing in life – we want to create great young men and women out of this program.' Franklin Romero - CC

After 16 years as an assistant football coach, Grants native Steve Brown has garnered the head coach position of the Grants High School football team. “I just fell in love with coaching and enjoy working with the youth of our community,” said Brown.

At the recent District 5-4A meeting for baseball, our team had a fantastic showing among the award recipients! After completing a District Championship season, our kids were recognized for their hard work and dedication by being awarded the following awards!

Cibola County 4-H Archery Team Makes History Becoming First in Cibola to Qualify for Nationals

GRANTS, NM – The Cibola County 4-H archery team is heading to nationals after placing first in the state championship. The 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships is held each June in Grand Island, Nebraska. The team is holding fundraisers and accepting donations to fund the trip.
