Yup, it’s here, spring break! Our granddaughters in Albuquerque have been home schooled since the pandemic demanded that and welcomed this opportunity to close lap-top computers and enjoy the needed break.

What is a charter?

At the onset of every City of Grants Council meeting, Mayor Martin “Modey” Hicks declares that the city is not in compliance with their charter. What exactly does that mean? Well, it’s a little complicated, and we’ll get there if you stick with us. First, we need to understand what a charter is.
