Jade is the daughter of Quinn and Mary Alice Smith of Milan, NM, and the granddaughter of Virlon and Deloris Smith of Lovington, NM.

GRANTS, N.M. - Vanessa Chavez was recently appointed as the new city manager of Grants, New Mexico. The city council approved the appointment, which followed removal of the previous city manager, Laura Jaramillo.
