Rugged West 2022

The Grants-Cibola County Chamber of Commerce put on the Rugged West Labor Day event this past weekend, bringing a joyous time to all in Cibola County, and attracting a number of tourists to come enjoy Cibola County. Executive Director Brenda Curtright thanked all of her board members and volunteers for helping to put on the project, and she thanked all of the vendors for helping to support the event and the local economy.

Temporary Trail Closures in Zuni Mountains

Affected trails include Y2K, Strawberry Canyon, Mike’s Rippin’ and a Portion of Tampico Springs Trails Diego Lopez, Reporter GRANTS, NM – Tree thinning activities will be taking place in the Zuni Mountains over the next several months. These activities will limit the public’s ability to recreate in the forest, this is being done to protect the public and the forest.
