GRANTS, N.M. – Statewide, threats to schools are on the increase. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is seeing a massive increase in threats to schools. In just the first six months of 2022, the FBI noted an 850 percent increase in threats of violence toward schools.

COVID-19 in June

Cibola County has so far had a rough month in the battle against COVID-19. Cases are on the rise, and due to holidays COVID-19 data is lagging from the state Department of Health. Four residents have died in Cibola County from COVID-19 since May 31.

GRANTS, N.M. – 58-year-old John Paul Lynn of Grants, New Mexico, has been missing from his home since June 16. Grants Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding the missing man.
