Diego Lopez, Reporter The New Mexico Cattle Growers’ Association and others announced today that they have settled the lawsuit filed to prevent the United States Forest Service from shooting cattle from a helicopter in the Gila Wilderness.

A series of car crashes and fires kept Cibola’s fire personnel busy before the evening of July 4. Fire teams responded to a large semitruck fire on Interstate 40, shortly after the Grants Independence Day Parade. A bad car crash occurred on I-40.
