MILAN, N.M. – On Sunday evening the Village of Milan Police Department responded to a call of domestic violence at Kachina Country at 707 W. Route 66 in the village. Officers made contact with a female victim and discovered her male counterpart inside their room with an apparent fatal gunshot wound.

Fatal interstate accident

BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. – On December 5 New Mexico State Police investigated a fatal accident on Interstate 40 near milepost 156. While the accident remains under investigation, NMSP said in a statement that a 2022 Freightliner semi-truck began to slowdown for traffic caused by an earlier accident.

MILAN, N.M. – On December 11, the Village of Milan Police Department responded to a call of a shooter with a shotgun at Escondido trailer park in Milan, New Mexico. MPD received assistance from the Cibola County Sheriff’s Office and New Mexico State Police to apprehend the shooter.
