Southwest Yard & Garden; Starting seeds with patience

Starting plants from seed can be confusing. Too little water, and they dry and die. Too much, and suddenly, you are farming algae. Patience and attentiveness are required during this delicate phase of seedling growth, especially if some seeds are sprouting while others take their sweet time.

A new business in Grants; Burress Barber Shop opens

GRANTS, N.M. - Burress Barber Shop officially opened its doors to the community during its April 1 Grand Opening. The family business is located on 110 West Santa Fe Avenue. The owners, Levi Burress and Hailey Burress, have both been residents of Cibola County for many years.
