Coffee With the Managers

GRANTS, N.M. – On October 2, residents gathered for an hour-long coffee meeting with city managers and key community leaders. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss various projects and upcoming events impacting Grants and its surrounding area.

EPA to Brief Milan on Homestake Superfund Cleanup; Fifth Five-Year Review Released

MILAN, N.M. — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will hold an open house and community meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, to brief residents on the Homestake Mining Company Superfund Site and to take questions about ongoing cleanup, monitoring, and next steps.The open house runs from 5 to 6 p.

3rd Annual Zuni Mt. / Mt. Taylor Willys Jeep Roundup

On this past Sunday, September 21, 2025, Evelyn and I hosted our 3rd Annual Zuni Mt. /Mt. Taylor Willys Jeep Roundup. The old Willys wagon seemed to be trail worthy, or perhaps just road ready. No leaks, no oil drips, and only need to touch up the duct tape covering holes in the floorboard.
