Albert Burton Barnett
Albert Burton Barnett died on June 5, 2019. Mass of Resurrection will be on Friday, June 14, at 10:30 a.m., St. Teresa of Avila, 213 Smith St., in Grants, New Mexico.
Born September 1, 1989 in Albuquerque N.M. to Kay and Joe Barnett, he lived in both Grants and Maui, HAwaii where, in his earlier years he attended Maui Community College.
Albert had this quote by St. Francis de Sales in his writings:
“Make yourself familiar with the angels and behold them frequently in spirit for without being seen, they are omnipresent with you.”
Angels, music, working the earth, and rescuing animals were prominent in Albert's life. When we think of Albert let us celebrate the good memories, we have of him and remember that life is fragile. He will be missed by so many who loved him and valued his presence.
Albert is survived by his mother: Kay McBride Barron; his father: Joe Barnett; his grandmother: Dorothy Peña McBride; and his grandfather: Walter McBride; his brothers: Pablo Smith and Adrian Barron; his aunt and godmother: Sister Lydia Peña, S.L.; his companion: Tiffani Brito and her son Elias Brito, who called him papa; and his numerous and loving extended family including aunts, uncles, and cousins.
