Ermino Chavez

Visitation for Ermino Chavez, 97 of Albuquerque, New Mexico was held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 10 a.m.to 12:30 p.m. at Compassion Mortuary. A Graveside service was held at the Grants Memorial Park at 1 p.m.

Ermino was born on June 22, 1923 in Farmington, N.M. and he passed away at his home on August 26, 2020 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II.

He was a migrant field worker then went into business with his father as owner and manager of El Rey Motel and an Apartment complex.

He is survived by his sister: Silveria Chavez of Albuquerque, N.M.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Raphael Chavez and Sophia Chavez; brothers: Demetrio Chavez, Auturo Chavez, Florencio Chavez, Eloy Chavez; sister: Ida Chavez, Idelida Chavez, Kilimaco Chavez.

Pallbearers will be Gabriel Rodgriguez, Isaiah Meza, Brandi Meza, Joey Lovato, Ismael Meza, Paul Chavez.
