Kayla Denae Gray

Kayla Denae Gray was born in Grants, NM on June 27th, 1990. She passed away in Vancouver, Washington at age 30 on May 31, 2021, after a lengthy battle with kidney disease.

Kayla spent most of her childhood in Winnemucca, Nevada where she graduated from Lowery High School class of 2008. She moved to Vancouver in 2009 and greatly enjoyed her life there. Although Kayla was never healthy enough to receive the kidney transplant she needed, her corneas have given someone else the renewed gift of sight.

Kayla is survived by her brothers, Alex Gray of Rio Rancho NM, Kobe Gray of Chandler AZ, and Gabriel Plascenia of Winnemucca NV, grandmothers Yvonne Gray of Rio Rancho NM and Hazel Glaeser of Winnemucca NV, aunts Mychelle Gray of Rio Rancho NM and Deandra Glaeser of Winnemucca NV, uncles Eric Glaeser of Symrna TN and Dion Glaeser of Beaver Creek OH, stepmother Renee Gray Sunderland of Chandler AZ and stepfather Tony Plascenia of Winnemucca NV, step siblings Michael Wolfel of Chandler AZ, Melissa Wolfel of Co-Coa Florida and Natalie Porter-Lorenzi of Co-Coa Florida, and many more aunts, uncles, cousins and best friends Caite Oser, Dawn Iverson, Mandy Davidson, Allison Lucey and Elicia Chiquete.

Kayla is preceded in death by her father Mark Gray and mother Kristen Glaeser-Plascenia, grandfathers Fred Gray and Allen Glaeser, great grandparents, Mark and Eleanore Johnson.

Kayla wilI always be loved, missed and rememberee for her funloving free-spirit, her-stubborn strong - willed nature and her rockstar princess attitude.
