Lonnie R. Hathorn

Lonnie R. Hathorn (68) went home to meet his maker on August 15, 2022. He was born on September 18, 1953 in Albuquerque, N.M. to Sonny and Doris Hathorn. Lonnie grew up on a ranch in Encino/Vaughn, NM where he worked on several ranches. He moved to Clovis, NM and learned the trade of a Carpenter before moving to Milan, NM becoming the owner of Hathorn’s Well Service. He spent the last years of his life retired in Grants, NM.

Lonnie leaves behind his three children: Laura Barron (Jon)of Grantsville, Utah; Dustin Hathorn of Cripple Creek, Colorado; and Kesha Adams (Kevin) of Clovis, NM. 10 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two sisters He is preceded in death by his parents: Doris and Sonny; and sister: Janine Halderman. A celebration of life will be held at Grants Riverwalk Amphitheater in Grants, N.M. on September 24, 2022 at 1 p.m.
