William H Fields

William H Fields was born on March 23,1936 in St. Johns Arizona, passed away July 30, 2021, in Grants New Mexico. He will be loved and greatly missed by his family and friends.

Willie grew up in Grants and graduated from Grants Union High School in 1954. He was a successful businessman, loved the mountains, listening and dancing to county music, traveling and playing golf. Most of all a great husband, father, best friend, role model and work ethic like none other.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Roxann; sons: Mike wife Gwen of Albuquerque, NM, and James wife Dolores of Denver City, Texas; daughters:

Rhonda McDaugale and husband Roger of Grants, NM, Louise Hawkins and husband John of Bloomfield, NM, and Natalie Laney and husband David of Mesa, Arizona; 19 grandchildren; 37 greatgrandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren; brother: Gerald (Jerry) Fields of Phoenix, Arizona and; sister: Elizabeth (Liz) Reynolds of Cortez, Colorado along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Willie is preceded in death by his mother: Louise (Granny) Cano; his son: Thomas (Tommy) Fields; and great-granddaughter: Isabel Aragon; his inlaws: James and Helen Hamilton.

Pallbearers include Cody McDaugale, Kyle Hawkins, Brandon Fisher-Fields, Hayden Laney, Thomas Fields and Talon Laney.

Honorary Pallbearers are Nicole, Brandie, Tiffany, Thomas, Carolee, Stephanie, Parnell, Amber, Christina, Chris, James, Jamie, and Kailyn .

Funeral services will be held on August 5,2021 at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Grants New Mexico at 10:00 am, grave site services will immediately follow.
