Welcome Mainstreet Project’s New Director

GRANTS, NM – Welcome Denise Hanson, Mainstreet Project’s new Director as of mid-July. Her enthusiasm and optimism have found many allies in the community. All are looking forward to accomplishing ventures that will undoubtedly enhance the appearance and reputation of our cozy Southwestern town.

A National Center for Biotechnology Information study published online on Sept. 1 2020, “Accounting for Unfissioned Plutonium from the Trinity Atomic Bomb Test,” stated that the Trinity device contained about 6 kilograms – approximately 13.23 pounds – of plutonium as its fission source.
