The past Saturday, October 1st , 2022, the fifth annual Mt. Taylor Vintage Bronco Round-up was held; this year starting at Ed Corley Ford on Santa Fe Avenue in Grants. N.M., again sponsored by Roger and Evelyn Siegmann. Sales person Diane Jackson was instrumental in coordinating this year’s event.

MILAN, N.M. – According to the Western New Mexico Airway Heritage Museum in Milan, a significant part of New Mexico’s history comes from when the community was part of the Transcontinental Airways. In 1920, mail took about three days to cross the United States by train.

SEBOYETA, N.M. – American Future Fuel Corporation is a Canadian- based company that is purchasing/leasing land in Cibola County in an effort to jumpstart uranium mining in the area. Seven nuclear power generators will be restarted by the coming summer, increasing demand for uranium.

GRANTS, N.M. – The Grants City Council held a special meeting on October 12 at the Cibola Senior Citizens Center. In this meeting, the council held a townhall to discuss public safety in the city, and the actions of Mayor Erik Garcia on September 27.
