GRANTS, N.M. - A new television-type show is being filmed in Grants at Route 66 Junkyard Brewery. The show features two female FBI agents who are in the fictional town, Uranium, in Cibola County. The town has two law enforcement officers, a sheriff, and his deputy, and coincidentally they are son and father. The sheriff is the son, played by Gabe Baca of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He has gone rogue after taking down a notorious drug cartel. The government turns its back on him while the cartel tortures and kills his wife and then tortures him to near death, leaving him with missing toes and a long recovery from PTSD [post-traumatic stress disease].

Undercover FBI Agent Becky Knots is played by Montana native Ashley Dalton. She was a Division One athlete who played volleyball for several universities. Her athletic ability in performing the stunts is unmatched. Her million-dollar smile and ability to adapt on the fly are phenomenal and she adds an extra dynamic to the show. She is happily married to UNM Law School student, Tony Dalton. Becky is a tough agent who is dealing with alcoholism.

Undercover FBI Agent Jackie Ross is played by Teresa Heine, a native of New Mexico and Hawaii, who is fearless which helps with some of the stunts because she plays the role of the tougher agent. Jackie is also super arrogant.

Dr. Skye Walker is played by actress, director, producer, and film industry expert Californian Felicia Marie Masias. She and her husband own Sopapilla Productions. She is super intelligent and is the town’s only surgeon. Walker is also the daughter of Jackson, even though he did not raise her, and they are not blood related.

Deputy John Martinez Sr. is played by our very own Cibola County Sheriff Tony Mace. Any criminals reading this, when you see that Dodge truck in your rearview mirror, pull over like it is Texas Walker because he is going to get you. Mace is a reallife sheriff and the department provides law enforcement protection countywide.

Sheriff John Martinez Jr. is played by Albuquerque's South Valley's mechanic Gabe Baca. If it is broken, Baca can fix it. His character is honest. Sheriff Martinez wants to be the cop that his adopted dad used to be. Sheriff Martinez idolized his father and believed that he can bring the Martinez name back to glory.

Jackson Jackson is played by Grants resident and local Junkyard Brewery Pub owner Henry Lackey. There are only two people who are sure about Jackson - the doctor and the deputy, even after he shoots the deputy.

The Crew

Jonathan Johnson is a Milan native and a retired video journalist. He is currently running the sound and editing on this production.

Mike Ross is the camera boss and is probably an Albuquerque native and an engineer.

Matt Livingston, Navajo Native American from Prewitt, N.M. operates camera two normally, but he is getting camera one credits for the pilot production.

“Cibola County is a great place to film, from the residents to the elected officials, Cibola County Sheriff's Office, Grants Police Department, to the local businesses, to the Cibola Citizen newspaper. Everyone is willing to do a little extra to make your filming experience a little easier, so up and coming filmmakers start with Grants,” urged film promoters.
