Mt. Taylor Ranger District to Implement Redondo Prescribed Fire – Sawyer Block

Grants, NM – May 29, 2023 – Fire Managers on the Cibola National Forest & National Grasslands (NF & NGs) plan to conduct previously announced prescribed fire operations on the Mt. Taylor Ranger District. Ignitions are planned to start as early as Mon. May 29 and continue thru Wed. May 31.

GRANTS, NM - The Mount Taylor Ranger District has begun to offer firewood permits. These can be purchased in person or over the phone by going to the Mount Taylor District Office at 1800 Lobo Canyon Road in Grants, NM, or over the phone at 505-287-8833.

Haley is a 2 to 3-year-old female Basset hound Mix. She arrived at the Animal Care Center from Catalina Acres on April 6. Haley has a sassy personality, and wants to be a lap dog. She gets excited to go outside for walks and is loving fur baby. Haley would do best in a single dog home.
