GRANTS, NM - NM State Auditor Joseph Maestas and State Treasurer Laura Montoya have issued a joint alert to all counties and municipalities throughout the State. This is due to collateralization laws and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation guidance being inconsistently followed across the State.

Homicide in Grants

GRANTS, NM – The City of Grants, New Mexico, was rocked by a homicide on Smith Street on May 15 in the afternoon. Police quickly apprehended a suspect who, according to multiple police reports of the incident, admitted to committing the murder.

Early Collage High School opened their door in Aug of 2019. ECHS is a public high school under Grants Cibola County Schools. The Program and curriculum are different from, Traditional High School settings. Students complete High School and collage credits within four years.
