GCCS and Its New Online Program Through Pecos Cyber

Grants Cibola County Schools recently announced its new partnership with Pecos Cyber Academy. This partnership is a great alternative for those who wish to be part of GCCS but want to participate online.“We’ve lost kids to online education largely due to the pandemic.

GCCS Aims to Improve Food in Schools

In a regular school board meeting taking place on June 24th and lasting approximately three and a half hours, the board discussed the staffing situation at GCCS, a grant they were awarded, assessment data, the ratification of the 20252026 union negotiated agreement, and the school food service.

Drought Holds Steady as New Fires Spark Around Cibola

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. – As of June 24, the U.S. Drought Monitor shows 100 percent of Cibola County remains in drought, with nearly 62 percent under Severe Drought (D2) and another 38 percent in Extreme Drought (D3).

Grants Farmers Market Welcomes 43 Vendors in Biggest Saturday Yet

GRANTS, N.M. — Sunshine, fresh eggs, and the smell of homemade jerky greeted early risers at City Hall Park on Saturday, where the Grants Farmers Market saw its largest turnout yet this season — with 43 vendors participating.
