In a regular school board meeting taking place on June 24th and lasting approximately three and a half hours, the board discussed the staffing situation at GCCS, a grant they were awarded, assessment data, the ratification of the 20252026 union negotiated agreement, and the school food service.

GRANTS, N.M. – On June 21, Grants Main Street Project, Inc., held an open house where volunteers of the organization informed the public of their successes throughout the year as well as the current state of affairs at GMS.

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. – As of June 24, the U.S. Drought Monitor shows 100 percent of Cibola County remains in drought, with nearly 62 percent under Severe Drought (D2) and another 38 percent in Extreme Drought (D3).

GRANTS, N.M. — Sunshine, fresh eggs, and the smell of homemade jerky greeted early risers at City Hall Park on Saturday, where the Grants Farmers Market saw its largest turnout yet this season — with 43 vendors participating.
