A new adjective passed my ears, a word that I couldn’t believe: Modeyfied. Let me address the glaring. I am not a resident of the City of Grants, I am a resident of Cibola County. I cannot and do not vote in city elections.

No place for cynics Dear Editor: I am always impressed by the optimism and can-do attitude at the Coffee with The Manager meetings, the first Thursday of the month. There is such a community feeling at these meetings that I never grumble about getting up early enough for the 8:00 start time.

Shedding Light

There are four seasons: winter, spring, summer, and fall. Towards the end of each season, particularly summer and winter, I have the same odd but humorous realization. That realization is that it is human nature to want what we cannot have. Or maybe it is just me, who knows.

Dear Editor: This is one of those joy-filled days, which I have to admit have been fewer since Covid. A trip to Mount Taylor Coffee Company has made the day even better. When I arrived, there were eight or nine cars in the parking lot and someone else pulled in as I was pulling out.
