Letters To the Editor

The Truth Part 2 Our wonderful Mayor and his buddies continue to spread false information. I apologizes for yet another letter to the editor, but I can’t stand it when people bully others and do not tell the truth. I would like to clarify some misinformation being put out there.

American roadkill

Millions of animals die on U.S. roads every year. Reductions in night-time driving would stem future senseless loss of wildlife.

Cruising Cibola

From everybody at the paper, we wish you Merry Christmas and happy holidays. My personal wish for you is very simple: We wish you faith, hope, charity, and peace. Please let us be of service to you. We are your hometown paper, and we’re interested in everything that you do.

Shedding Light

Kylie Garcia During the past week, I did a bit of reflecting. I started thinking about my high school days, specifically my journey with mathematics in high school. I always did a decent job in my math classes prior to high school, and I was in Honors Algebra my freshman year.

Grateful for community

Dear editor, Over many years Continental Divide Electrical Co-Op has provided affordable power to our communities. Continental Divide has also given back to the City of Grants in many generous ways. They have looked upon Grants as a partner and have always treated us as such.

Op-Ed

For the first time in the Cibola Citizen’s history, we are running out of bundles of newspaper. The price will remain the same, $1, but please be patient with us when we don’t have any extra bundles for sale.

I See Potential

Every once in a while, I decide to take a drive around Grants. Sometimes for work, sometimes for fun, but each time I do, I am surprised by the buildings or parts of town that I have never seen before. I have lived in Grants all of my life, and yet there are parts of the area I am still discovering.

The world we live in

The past few decades have really changed the world we live in. Society is no longer what it used to be. It worse than ever before and the current stream of events only seem to indicate that things are going to get far worse before they get better.

State of Affairs

The American Revolution was fought and won by Patriots, people who had nothing to lose but their lives. Patriots came in all forms, men and women – often, we forget the importance women played in the American Revolution, the role they have historically played as champions of society and freedom.
