After starting the weekend with a 5 AM departure to West Las Vegas high school to play in a tournament, the Lady Pirates softball team went 12 this past weekend. The Lady Pirates lost to East Mountain 11-3 and then defeated Tohatchi 17-1.

The Pirate went 3-0 last week after shutting out Miyamura High School (1-9), a team who narrowly defeated them last year, by a score of 110. The team had 22 at bats, 10 hits and 10 RBIs in that 11-0 shellacking of the Patriots.
