GRANTS, N.M. – In the early morning of February 8, Grants Fire and Rescue was called to put out a housefire in Mt. Taylor Addition in Grants, New Mexico. The fire, on 132 Michael Street, fully engulfed the residence and left the building charred.

City Council Meeting: Appointments and Wastewater Bonds

After a brief recess, the Grants City Council reconvened on Jan. 25 for appointments, wastewater bonds, budget update, and recognitions. The second half of the city council meeting saw the approval of Sean Erice to the Cemetery Board for a two-year appointment.

Milan Firefighter Earns EMT Certification

Congratulations to Volunteer Firefighter Tiffany McCoy. In less than a year, Tiffany has obtained her EMT-Basic, and didn’t stop there! She recently completed, passed, and is now a licensed EMT-Intermediate. Great job Tiffany! Milan Fire Department is proud of you.
