CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. – The Cibola County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people on Friday, July 8. The arrests came as part of a joint operation between CCSO and the Adult Probation and Parole Office’s Fugitive Apprehension Team to bring violators of the law to justice.

SANTA ROSA, NM - On July 7, 2021, the New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau was contacted to investigate a shooting in Santa Rosa, NM. Agents learned that in the early morning hours of July 7, 2021, Adam Romanek, (26) of Albuquerque, NM had stolen a silver 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt from his father in Albuquerque, NM.

SANTA FE N.M.– Surrounded by Santa Fe County Fire personnel, leaders from the State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on July 2 hosted a “signing ceremony” for Senate Bill 256 and Senate Bill 90 at Agua Fria Fire & Rescue in Santa Fe. Physical distancing requirements precluded an in-person event at the time the governor signed the bills in April.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, U.S. Senator Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) took part in a bipartisan congressional delegation (CODEL) visit to Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia and Guatemala to discuss bilateral issues with top government officials and civil society and business leaders.
