NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has observed the well-known Ring Nebula with unprecedented detail. Formed by a star throwing off its outer layers as it runs out of fuel, the Ring Nebula is an archetypal planetary nebula.

Wolf-Rayet stars are known to be efficient dust producers, and the Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI) on NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope shows this to great effect. Cooler cosmic dust glows at the longer mid-infrared wavelengths, displaying the structure of WR 124’s nebula.

The full view of the James Webb Space Telescope’s NIRCam (Near-Infrared Camera) instrument reveals a 50 light-years-wide portion of the Milky Way’s dense center. An estimated 500,000 stars shine in this image of the Sagittarius C (Sgr C) region, along with some as-yet unidentified features.

GRANTS, NM – On November 14, it was announced by Grants Police Department that Dennis Bubel, who had a warrant out for his arrest on charges of attempted murder and aggravated battery, was captured by Albuquerque Police Department after being observed in the Albuquerque area.
The City of Grants held their Regular City Council Meeting on November 29. This meeting included multiple discussion such as the Grants MainStreet Quarterly Presentation and a Holophane Lighting Presentation. We now have a specialty license plate. New Mexico has some of the prettiest license plates in our country I believe, and they tell a story when you think about it. Take the Farm and Ranch license plate for example: I think of horses and cattle and cowboys.
