LAGUNA PUEBLO – Laguna Man Bret Anthony Vallo was arraigned April 18 on the charges of kidnapping, assault of an intimate partner, and assault with a dangerous weapon. Vallo is a 31year-old, enrolled member of Laguna Pueblo. He will remain on conditions of release pending trial which has not been scheduled.

LAGUNAPUEBLO – The United States Department of Justice announced on April 23 that Robert Benjamin Nelson, 31 of Scottsdale Arizona, pleaded guilty to attempted murder of federal officers. The FBI took over the investigation in September 2020, quickly charging the alleged shooter, Robert Benjamin Nelson, with a series of felony charges. Per a plea agreement, Nelson faces between 10 and 30 years at sentencing which has not been scheduled.

GRANTS, NM – The first annual New Mexico Department of Game and Fish Field Trip happened at the Grants Riverwalk Park on Friday and included both the fifth and six grades from Mt. Taylor Elementary School.
