Pablo Antonio Valdivia, 30, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on March 10, 2022 after a brief illness. Pablo grew up in Cibola County, New Mexico and after graduating from St. Teresa Catholic School and Grants High School, went on to graduate from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Pablo, a resident of Atlanta, Georgia was recently living and working in Durango, Colorado where he could be nearer to the mountains he loved so much.

Minnie Marie Gonzales passed away on March 16, 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she was 70 years of age. She was born on March 10, 1952 in Vadito, New Mexico.

James Dennis Gregory passed away at home at the age of 69 on February 23, 2022. He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on June 20, 1952. He is survived by his wife Elaine Gregory, his daughter Bandi Martinez, her husband Isaac Martinez, His daughter Rebecca Rhodes, and his son Daniel Gregory and his wife Martha Gregory. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Viola Ruth (Cisneros) Peña was born in Bernalillo on June 26, 1926, and passed on March 20, 2022, of natural causes. The viewing will be at Compassion Mortuary on March 31st from 6:00 to 8 p.m., and the rosary and mass will held be at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. respectively on April 1st, with internment to follow.

It has been a year since you left us. It seems like just yesterday we were reminiscing about the past, how I miss those days. I see you in my dreams, I see you when I wake up. The loneliness never goes away. Our Lord took you from me without even a goodbye. You were gone so soon but God only knows why. I know you are in a better place now. I loved you when you were born and I love you still. In my heart you hold a place that no one will ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. for part of me went with you the day God took you home.
