Leandro Sanchez, age 95, a long-time resident of the San Fidel/Grants area, went home to Heaven on September 14, 2021. Leandro was born on June 22, 1926 in San Fidel, New Mexico to his parents, Gregorio Sanchez and Luz Lucero Sanchez.

Farrell Carter Parks, age 90, passed away peacefully Friday, September 17, 2021, at the Cottage Glen Assisted Living Center in Tooele, Utah in the presence of loving family members. Farrell was born in Belle Fourche, South Dakota to Rulon B. Parks and Maude Carter on April 9, 1931.

On 10 September, Pete E. Salazar passed away. He was born on August 12, 1935 in Sena, New Mexico, of Daniel Salazar and Maria Gallegos-Salazar. He was married to Veronica Murrietta-Salazar on 21 August 1959.
