CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. – On Dec. 2 a fast-moving winter storm dropped snow across the county, including on Interstate 40. The suddenly snowy roads made driving conditions dangerous and resulted in a series of car accidents on I-40 through Cibola County.

144 new positives in a week

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. – The New Mexico reset worked to slow the spread of COVID-19, according to the New Mexico Department of Health. Cibola County was climbing steadily with cases until the reset, this week the county’s positives only increased 6.4 percent, but the county’s deaths increased 11.
