CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. - The day before muzzleloader season opened, a hunter scouting for mule deer made a stunning discovery through his spotting scope. He observed the buck of a lifetime and then moments later, its illegal harvest.

Cibola Fishing Report – May 20 - 25

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. – Memorial Day weekend brought classic late-May conditions to Cibola County’s waters: more boats on Bluewater, more people outside, and plenty of bird activity at both the lake and the Riverwalk.

Baseball Coach and Players Shine

GRANTS, N.M. Though the Grants High School baseball season ended with a quick one and done at the 4A state tournament the team and head coach received several district accolades in district 5-4A.Mike Furbee, the GHS head baseball coach was named District Coach of the Year.
