Bats are Flying as Baseball and Softball Kick Off

GRANTS, N.M. Boom, just like that we are several games deep into the Spring team sports baseball and softball seasons.“After four games – and to be 2-2 is not a bad start considering we are down three key players who are out for basketball,” said Grants High School Head Baseball Coach Mike Furbee.

GRANTS, N.M. - The Grants High School boys basketball team received a 15th seed to the NUSENDA boys 4A state basketball tournament and will travel this Saturday to play district rival and the number one seeded team the Highland Hornets (234, 8-0).
The Laguna-Acoma girls basketball team were crown district champs after defeating Ramah 60-28 last week. They received a four seed in the NUSENDA state 2A girls basketball tournament and will host Legacy Academy (17-10, 80) this Friday at 6 PM at 'The Nest'. Courtesy Photos
