GRANTS, N.M. – For 42 years, the Mt. Taylor Quadrathlon has stood as one of the most grueling yet beloved endurance challenges in the Southwest, and this year’s challenge threw curveballs no one expected but everyone triumphed over.

They are between the number one team in the state, St. Pius, and the 6th ranked team in the state, the Highland Hornets. The Pirates split this past weekend and went 11 after losing in another game that went into overtime.The Valencia Jaguars, whom the Pirates defeated 51-38 at home on January 21, were three-points better than the Pirates on the road this past Friday.

GHS Track Competes at Cherry and Silver Meet
