Baseball goes 2-1 at Farmington Invite

The “Boys of Summer” finally has some good weather to play in. As we know, Spring in New Mexico can be more like Winter. The Grants High School Baseball team played last week in the northwest at the Farmington Invite and defeated two teams and lost to one team.

Lady Hawks Run Ends at Quarterfinals

Hawks! Hawks! The Lady Hawks of Laguna-Acoma made it to the quarterfinals in Nusenda girls 2A state basketball tournament and were defeated by Tatum 58-38 at the Rio Rancho Events Center last week in that quarterfinal game.

NMAA Announces Hall of Fame Class of 2025

The New Mexico Activities Association, in conjunction with the NMAA Hall of Fame Committee, announces the Class of 2025 for induction into the NMAA Hall of Fame. The three inductees are Paul Benoit, Bill Green, and Dickie Roybal.

Pirates Early Exit from State

The Grants High School Boys’ Basketball Team was eliminated from the Nusenda boys 4A state basketball tournament in the first round with a 72-57 loss to Albuquerque Academy on Saturday, March 8.
