Late Rally Secures Aggie Win Over SEMO

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The Tony Sanchez era is here. On Saturday, Aug. 31, NM State took on the SEMO Redhawks inside Aggie Memorial Stadium to kick off the 2024 season. Trailing 16-10 to begin the fourth quarter, the Aggies rattled off 13 unanswered points to complete a 23-16 victory.

Diego Lopez, Reporter New Mexico Public Education Secretary Aresenio Romero resigned [August 28], effective immediately, amid speculation about his potential future as the next president of New Mexico State University (NMSU).The announcement, made by the governor’s office after 5:30 p.m.
