New COVID-19 vaccine expected in New Mexico by early September

SANTA FE — The Biden-Harris administration announced last week the return of free COVID19 tests for Americans, set to begin in late September. In addition, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the latest COVID-19 vaccine, expected to be available in New Mexico within the next two weeks.

NMSP Investigates Officer-Involved Shooting in Laguna Amid Rising Public Safety Concerns

LAGUNA, NM – At the end of July, Laguna Police Department was involved in a shooting, while no one was seriously injured, police did incarcerate 43-year-old Georgia Martinez Rubio after she allegedly pulled a firearm on officers, leading to the incident.
