Water is a key component to Xeric landscaping. Thinking about ways to reduce the area that is watered regularly involves planning. To do this, a landscaping design called Hydrozoning has been developed. With this design, the landscape is divided into areas of differing water needs.

Fatal Shooting Near Prewitt

PREWITT, N.M. – The New Mexico State Police were involved in a shooting near Prewitt on April 16. The shooting left one unidentified suspect deceased, and involved a good Samaritan who stopped his vehicle to assist an officer in need. Details remain limited as NMSP investigates the shooting.
