CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. – February has seen the end of Cibola’s Omicron COVID-19 surge. The month of February ended with 721 active cases, with COVID killing 11 residents of Cibola this month.

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. — The American Bison species has undergone a long and unfavorable journey in New Mexico and the United States.

Road blading schedule

CIBOLA COUNTY, NM – Cibola County Road Department 2022 blading schedule for County Maintained Roads for the remainder of the year. The schedule will be as follows: March – Seboyeta area, County Rd 41, Timberlake Area, and Zuni Canyon area.

Cibola County Business Registrations Continue to Increase

CIBOLA COUNTY, NM — Cibola County previously reported increases in business registrations over the last two years. There had been 81 new business registrations between December 2019 and October 2021. As existing businesses continue to renew their registrations, new businesses continue to be added.

ZUNI MOUNTAINS – While on a hike up the vast Zuni Mountains, Cibola resident Bill Jones came across an unnerving sight: A Chupacabra. The beast was scared away when it noticed Mr. Jones, but the memory stuck with the shocked man.
