Josephine was born on October 28, 1937 in Regent, North Dakota and she went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2021 in Grants, New Mexico. A rosary and funeral service will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.

Bill Russell passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at his home, after a long illness.. He was born on March 18, 1955 in Logan, West Virginia. Bill is survived by his brother Carl and daughter McKenzie. Services will be held at a later date.

Mary Ellen Ward

Mary Ellen Ward was a kind and caring mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 11, 2021, due to heart complications. Per Mary’s wish, she was cremated and will be resting with her late husband Joe V.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin O Chavez (Grants, New Mexico), born in McNary, Arizona, who passed away on March 13, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Martin loved playing his guitars and singing. He helped anyone whenever he could.

Dale Tafoya passed away on March 21, 2021 at his home in Grants. He was born on December 12, 1940 also in Grants. Mr. Tafoya was a former Deacon and Sunday school teacher with Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Canon City, Colorado.

Doris Clymo passed away March 16, 2021, after a short illness. She was born November 24, 1939 to parents Clifford E. and Viola L Haynes in Post, Texas. Shortly after her birth the family moved to Pie Town NM where they were ranchers. Doris graduated from Quemado High School.

Lenda (Lucile) Webb Gaines

Lenda (Lucile) Webb Gaines, 95 of Grants, New Mexico, went home to be with her Lord on March 18,2021. Lucile was born in San Angelo, Texas on November 8, 1925. Lucille passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones. She loved her home with flowers and yard. She had a soft heart for her animals.

Leonard N. Griego

Leonard N. Griego was born on September 1, 1976 in Grants, New Mexico and passed away on March 9,2021. He was living in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Leonard was a devoted father and an avid outdoorsman, he was an amateur MMA fighter and motor cross racer. He loved his family.
