The Lady Pirates are wrapping up their volleyball season and will travel for their last district game to Belen on Nov. 5.The Lady Pirates lost to St. Pius 3-0 (25-9, 25-12, 25-8) on October 29. In their next game they defeated Highland 3-0 (2517, 25-8, 25-17).

The Grants High School volleyball team is currently 8-12 ,1-4 after dropping their last two games 0-3 and 0-3. On October 17 the Lady Pirates lost to Belen High School 25-19, 25-22 and 25-14. On October 24 the Lady Pirates lost to Valencia High School 25-13, 25-16 and 25-13.

GHS Soccer Season Concludes

The Grants High School soccer season has drawn to a close with the GHS boys soccer team wrapping up the season with a 3-13, 0-8 record. They lost their last two most recent games. On October 17 they lost to Highland High School (11-8-1, 6-2) by a score of 10-0.

Grants High School Cross Country hosted the Grants Invite last weekend.A total of 11 schools participated in the invite with local teams dominating the top 10.Notable Pirates placing at the event were John Paul Miller, a senior, who placed 3rd with a time of 18:19.61.
